I was invited to open Hatworks officially with the Mayor in 2000 and this Museum which is totally unique in UK and there are not many other hat Museums around the world, has gone from strength to strength winning all sorts of awards !

The idea of this exhibition Racing Ahead - The shape of hats to come - is to celebrate 300 years of Royal Ascot this year not by looking back, but by looking forwartd and I will visualize what hats will look like during the next 3 centuries.

I would be very happy to get your thoughts and ideas too! because the hats are going to be added one at a time over the course of the next few weeks

After 2041, will be 2111 !
